We are looking for those who are ready to contribute to the implementation of the Locally led response strategy in Ukraine (2024-2029) and the Operational Plan.
We are looking for those who share the principles of localisation and are ready to promote it both in Ukraine and globally. The platform for these strategic and structural changes is the Alliance of Ukrainian Civil Society Organisations.
Today, it comprises 16 Ukrainian civil society organisations that came together a little over a year ago to strengthen local leadership and demonstrate localisation, which will help local humanitarian actors become more visible to international partners and more effective in helping communities in need.
We plan to double the number of Alliance members to strengthen the voice of civil society and to have deeper understanding and expertise in specific areas:
1. Work in the areas of inclusion (people and communities in crisis and vulnerable situations) and health (physical and mental).
2. work to support and develop partnerships with local governments and authorities.
3. work to support and develop partnerships with the private sector.
The opportunity is open to Ukrainian civil society organisations, and the selection of participants will be based on the assessment of expertise, ability to contribute to the promotion of localisation, and motivation.
