Professional Experience
Olena is an expert in public policy and Government Relations with over 14 years of experience in law-making and advocacy.
She has worked in the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, as well as in an international and business association, civil society sector.
Olena helped shape Ukraine’s agenda for the European Green Deal and the Food Systems Transformation Strategy, which led to a Presidential Decree.
She has co-authored several laws, including those on the criminalisation of illegal mining, and represented Ukraine at international summits like COP25.
Education
Olena holds a PhD in Law, specialising in Human Rights and Theory State and Law. She also has a Master’s degree in Research and Innovation (Law, Economics, and Management) from Université Côte d’Azur in France and has been a licensed attorney since 2022. During the full-scale war, she also completed a degree in Psychology to better understand how to help society during a crisis.
